Partner Rick Robertson is the founder of Robertson Partners Architects, a firm dedicated to the design of historically derived architecture.

From the office in Los Angeles, the firm executes projects that are recognized as examples of historically inspired innovation and design excellence—from estate homes in Bel Air and Beverly Hills to master-planned towns in Los Angeles and New York. Las Lomas (north of Los Angeles) and Setauket Village (near New York City) are being recognized as visionary for what 21st century planning and architecture should be.

The ULI featured Las Lomas in its Urban Land Magazine, May 2003.

He is the recipient of the “Star of Design 2003,” a Los Angeles honor given to such architects as Frank Gehry, Charles Moore and Frank Israel.

A recent project has won “Chevalier de l’Ordre des Arts et Lettres” (Knights of the Order of the Arts and Literature), France’s highest cultural award with past recipients including Picasso, Matisse and Manet.

Rick Robertson is certified as an architect in all fifty states and licensed in seven.

He is a Visiting Lecturer at UCLA and Stanford University. Los Angeles architect Rick Robertson earned a Bachelor of Arts degree at Southern Methodist University and a Master of Architecture Degree from the University of Texas at Austin.

Los Angeles architect Rick Robertson is an active member of the Institute of Classical Architecture & Classical America.
